A visit to the botanical garden on the Brissago Islands, Canton Ticino, is a highlight and should be included in any journey in the region.

Created in 1885 by Baroness Antoinette de Saint-Leger and open to the public since 1950. The park features a great variety of exotic and subtropical plants: cyprus, eucalyptus, acacia, agaves, veronicas and bamboo.
