	Aufrecht, biegsam, leer - Bambus im alten Japan Völkerkundemuseum der Universität Zürich Die Bambussammlung von Hans Spörry bildet das Zentrum des Japanjahres im Museum. Als Seidenkaufmann in Yokohama (1890 - 1896) sammelte er alles, was irgenwie mit Bambus zu tun hatte. 	Ausstellung "Bambus und Papier"
	29. Juni - 27. Juli 2003 Kulturhaus Villa Berberich Bad Säckingen, Parkstraße 1 Deutschland Veranstalter: Stadt Bad Säckingen Deutsch-Japanische Gesellschaft Freundeskreis Nagai-Bad Säckingen e.V. Erstmalig in Deutschland widmet sich eine Ausstellung dem reizvollen Thema "Bambus und Papier". Beide Werkstoffe haben in Asien eine uralte Tradition des handwerklichen Gestaltens von Gegenständen des täglichen Bedarfs wie auch für kunstvolle Kultgegenstände. Gezeigt werden unter anderem Buchbinderarbeiten, Drachen, Lampen, Papierreißkunst, Kalligraphien, Tuschschmalerei und alter japanischer Farbholzschnitte. In die Kunst der Tuschmalerei wird der japanische Meister Sasaki Tesshin einführen. Zum Rahmenprogramm gehören Ikebana-, Kalligraphie- und Tuschmalereidemonstrationen, die Vorführung einer Teezeremonie, Vorträge, Kulturfilme und für Kinder das Falten von Origamipapier und die Lesung des Märchens "Die Bambusprinzessin" dazu. 	"die Klangbarke" Installation mit Bambus und Seide von Martin Stützle (Schweiz) in den Rheinhäfen Karlsruhe, Hafenbecken II Samstag, 24. Mai, 16 Uhr bis Sonntag, 25. Mai, ca. 16.30 Uhr Für die "Klangbarke" konnten Musiker, Performer und Helfer aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz gewonnen werden. Die Aktion ist Hauptbestandteil von drei Tagen "Kultur im Hafen", die vom Kulturamt Karlsruhe und der Hafendirektion veranstaltet werden. Infos: Pressetext
